Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Code of Conduct

A. Prohibited Uses (General IT Act Compliance)

Users are strictly prohibited from using the Services to:

• Infringe IPR: Upload, share, or transmit any material that infringes on the copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights of GSKE or third parties (Section E, T&C).
• Harmful Content (IT Act): Upload or disseminate content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, racially or ethically objectionable, or harmful to Minors, in violation of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
• Security Breach: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Portal, interfere with its security features, introduce viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
• Harassment: Engage in bullying, harassment, stalking, or the use of abusive or offensive language towards GSKE staff, teachers, franchisees, or other students.

B. Code of Conduct for Live Classes

Students and Parents/Guardians must ensure the following decorum during online sessions (e.g., Google Meet):

• Dressing and Environment: Student must be presentably dressed. The learning environment should be quiet, well-lit, and free from external distractions.
• Punctuality: Students must join the class on time and be prepared with the necessary study materials.
• Confidentiality: Class links, login credentials, and any digital meeting passwords are strictly confidential and must never be shared with unauthorized persons.
• Recording Ban: Recording, screen-capturing, or downloading any live class session is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized recording is a violation of GSKE's Intellectual Property Rights and constitutes a breach of the Terms and Conditions.

C. Use of the "Contact Teacher" Feature

The integrated communication feature is provided solely for:

• Academic Queries: Clarifying doubts related to the course material, homework, or level tests.
• Class Logistics: Discussing immediate, necessary class rescheduling or attendance issues.

It is forbidden to use this feature for:

• Personal chatting, soliciting, or non-academic topics.
• Marketing or spamming.
• Contacting teachers outside of the reasonable operating hours (e.g., 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST) unless previously agreed upon or for an emergency.

D. Enforcement and Penalties

GSKE reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a User has violated this AUP. Violations may lead to a graded response, including:

• First Offence: Formal written warning to the Parent/Guardian.
• Second Offence: Temporary suspension (up to 7 days) of Portal access and class attendance.
• Third Offence: Permanent and immediate termination of the User's account and services, without any right to refund as stipulated in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
